Avenue of the Clans

Best Clan Tent

The Avenue of the Clans is a colourful and vibrant area where over 40 Clans are set up to assist people who are interested in learning about their Scottish Clan and Heritage. You will find Clan representatives eager to talk about your Clan history as well as identify the many tartans that are unique to each clan and, should you be interested, the opportunity to join and be a member of a Scottish Clan. Our Sponsor, Rowe Electric, are an integral part of the Avenue of the the Clans and they take pride in recognizing and presenting each year their award for the "Best Clan Tent".

The criteria used in judging the "Best Clan Tent" at the Avenue of the Clans includes decoration (banners, flags, etc.), presentation (displays, etc.) and knowledge of clan history and the helpfulness of those manning the tent.

Winner of the Best Clan Tent 2013 at the Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games.
