Whisky Tasting at the Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games

Upon completion, The beer tent will be open for the remainder of the evening, featuring entertainment by the Town Pants, who brought the house down in 2007

Robin Laing, the ambassador of whisky himself. Singer Songwriter, Author, and Whisky tasting specialist. Often called “Scotland’s Whisky Bard”, Robin Laing is a much sought after participant in all things relating to the water of life…whisky. He will perform some of his most popular whisky tunes in addition to presenting a whisky tasting. Robin Laing Chairs the tasting panel of the Scottish Malt Whisky Society and writes many of the malt descriptions. He contributes on a regular basis to The Whisky Magazine and has published The Whisky Muse, which is a collection of poems and songs about Scotch whisky, and most recently, the Whisky River, which is about the Speyside distilleries of Scotland. He has recorded numerous whisky albums including The Angels Share, The Water of Life and One for the Road.
