Best Clan Tent
The Avenue of the Clans is a colourful, vibrant area. In each tent, visitors will find tales of the Clan’s history, see pictures of the heroes of old and study the tartans unique to each Clan. To encourage the Clans, each year an award is given by the Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games to the best Clan venue.
The criteria used in judging the "Best Clan Tent" at the Avenue of the Clans includes decoration (banners, flags, etc.), presentation (displays, etc.) and knowledge of clan history and the helpfulness of those manning the tent.
